Although copywriting for SEO, or ‘SEO copywriting’ has been touted in the SEO community as a separate skill, Google has recently deprioritised some of the benefits of SEO copywriting. Although there are still some sensible ways of including important keywords in copy, Google is now detecting so called ‘keyword stuffing’ at lower levels now (as well as ‘spun’ copy ie copy that has been produced by software). Plain good copy wins out in all cases.
